No one will have more influence on your child than you! We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. It is our hope that we can partner with you from the very beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Once your child enters into 1st grade, they move into our City Baptist Church Kids Ministry. We love God and want to help kids know Him better! No matter whether it’s a regular Sunday or a special event, we have a great time planning action-packed, God-glorifying activities for our CBC Kids. Learning about God and how to give Him glory is fun and exciting at CBC Kids, and we want to help you and your family be a part of living for the glory of His name!
CBC Kids meet during our 10 a.m. Sunday School, where Children 1st through 6th grade, learn God’s Word and will for their lives. To discover what it means to live our faith through a personal relationship with Christ. A place where memories and lifelong friendships start.
Your children’s safety is our highest of priorities. If you have any questions about our kid’s ministry, we would love to hear from you – contactus@citybaptistchurch.org!
CBC’s Kid Ministry Nursery
Welcome to City Baptist Church Nursery
We would love for you to visit our church and bring your young children to our nursery. Children are recognized as a very special gift. We value each of them as unique and special, to be cared for and nurtured, and shown the love of Christ.
Nursery services are provided for Sunday School and Sunday Morning Service.
Our Goal:
To provide safe, secure and loving environment for your child. Since Jesus placed such a high emphasis on little children, we feel that we must do the same. For safety reasons, every room must have at least 2 helpers, even if there is only 1 child present.
What to bring:
- Diaper bag or backpack with an extra diaper
- Sippy cup or bottle—labeled with your child’s name
- Extra change of clothes in case of an accident
Check-in Procedures:
City Baptist Church is committed to the safety and security of our children. The check-in process ensures that each child is registered and that any special needs, allergies, or other concerns are communicated to those caring for your children. Please be sure to fill out our nursery form for each child that will be cared for in the nursery.
Sick Children:
If a child exhibits any of the following symptoms, for both the child’s comfort and the health of all who are in the nursery, we ask that these children are kept at home. Children with any of the following symptoms will not be allowed in the nursery.
- Fever of 100⁰ or above within the past 24 hours
- Diarrhea within the last 24 hours
- Nausea or repeated vomiting within the past 24 hours
- A persistent cough
- Undiagnosed or untreated rashes.
- Green or dark yellow mucus discharge from the nose
- Pink eye and not on antibiotics for at least 24 hours
